About the role
We're currently looking for a Quality Auditor to join our Kerry Foods team in Ossett, Yorkshire! This role is a 5 month fixed term contract!
Key responsibilities
- Carry out internal audits of the Quality Management and Safety Systems, to verify compliance against defined standards and customers code of practice, completing mass balances and traceability exercises according to schedule and during 3rd party audits and business needs.
- Supporting cross functionally to facilitate 3rd party audits
- Perform QSHE (factory based) audits on a monthly basis and work close with Operation, Supply Chain, Engineering and Site Services departments to ensure compliance to site standards
- Identified issues are to be discussed during closing meetings and support given to close them out
- Verifying non-conformances on a regular basis and ensuring issues are investigated and corrective actions agreed and implemented.
- Placing, releasing and checking stock on basis set by schedule
- Supporting team with sample registration for external laboratory testing
- Supporting operations non-conformance close out projects
Qualifications and skills
- Good communicator and ability to work cross functionally.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office tools.
- Strong self-discipline and good organisational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines set by various schedules
- Good relationship building.
- Experience in auditing function would be beneficial.
- Confidence and willingness to challenge when required
