Your new company Hays is proud to be working with a well-regarded and established CA firm who offer a broad range of services to clients in a number of sectors. Following a period of sustained growth, the firm are looking to expand and as part of this they are looking to bring in an Accounts Senior who will ideally be at part qualified level.
Your new role You will be working with a broad range of clients, you will be responsible for the preparation and handling accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, along with accompanying tax computations (the firm have a dedicated Tax Manager so personal tax return experience is not required). You will also be comfortable with preparing VAT returns and dealing directly with clients. You will also support clients with queries and be on hand to support with talking clients through systems queries and developments (such as Xero).
What you'll need to succeed Previous accounting practice experience is required, and you should have practical experience of both preparing statutory accounts for final review and the preparation of management accounts. In addition, you will have good commercial acumen and great organisational skills. Preferably, you will be part qualified via CA or ACCA.
