Job Background/context:

- Create detailed business requirements documents, liaising with end-users as appropriate in compliance with Citi SDLC standards within deadlines set as part of the overall project planning
- Liaise with technology partners or external technology vendors to agree functional designs to meet business requirements
- Document comprehensive test scenarios/test cases to test new functionality being introduced
- Co-ordinate, support and lead the execution of User Acceptance Testing by an off shore testing team.
- Responsible for the delivery of Operational Readiness in preparation for go-live.
- Prepare documented processes and procedures for implementation of new applications/functionality
- Flag any issues in relation to the testing to the test lead in a timely manner and use the relevant issue tracking tools in order to formally keep track of those issues
- Communicate effectively with internal technology partners or the vendor in order to investigate reason for issues with a view to resolving the issues in an efficient manner
- Support the rollout of the applications across the FR operations teams, including training and pre-/post-implementation support
- Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
- Supporting the operating model design, systems migration process and process re-engineering
- Complete data mapping, migrations testing, reconciliation tool testing.
- Identify data cleansing requirements to support the migration of data from the legacy systems
- Assess, understand and manage interdependencies with other work streams
- Contribute to other work-streams as the need arises.
- Act as system SMEs as required.
- Ensure that the Citi Control and Quality requirements are understood and consistently adhered to when delivering each of the project outputs.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant Citi policies and guidelines during all stages of the project life cycle.
- Implement a formal approach to benefit realisation and tracking
- Compile or assist with compilation of project and testing plans.
- Manage project communications & reporting.
- Manage project stakeholders.
Essential:
- This position requires an individual with a proven record of delivering complex work-streams and projects within an operational environment
- Minimum 2 years industry experience in Fund Administration in a Project Management/Lead Business Analyst / Tester role
- Demonstrable understanding of FR processes
- Excellent Understanding of project management methodologies.
- Experience in planning and execution of UAT, including working with offshore UAT teams.
- Strong background & understanding of System Development Lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business studies/technology or equivalent desirable project management certification by a reputable organization (i.e. PRINCE II) preferred.
- Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience
- Demonstrable ability to interact with senior management and clients showing in-depth knowledge of Funds Services
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills and experience operating within a high pressure environment.
- Problem solving ability and good business judgement - knowing when to escalate, who to keep informed to identify next steps/resolution
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, self starter, adaptable
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate with and influence internal operational staff at all levels and project counterparts
- Ability to manage numerous competing concurrent activities and complex integration solutions
- Familiar with Change Control cycle and applying same to their work-stream.
- Effective time management and ability to adhere to deadlines is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, displaying professionalism at all times
- Highly PC literate (e.g. Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Quality Centre, Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook)
