Role: Finance and Accounts Payable Support Officer, Corporate, Logistics, and Finance (Role until - 30 June 2021)

Position Summary:

This role will be supporting the COVID-19 finance and accounts payable team by liaising with stakeholders and supporting the covid-19 division in verifying and processing invoices, responding to queries, providing support, audit activities and advice on a broad range of financial matters.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the provision of a range of financial activities to support the delivery of COVID-19 response activities.
  • Action the timely and accurate completion of budgets, reconciliations, financial reports, briefings, and other correspondence in accordance with internal and external reporting requirements. This may include unpaid invoices, accruals, prepayments and invoice payments and verifications.
  • Validation and processing of invoices received from contractors and stakeholders to ensure payment is made within agreed terms and or in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring and triage accounts inquiries including responding to complex queries.
  • Undertake analysis of complex data.
  • Provide systems administration and prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence and briefing materials as required.
  • Undertake the development of procurement and funding documentation including specifications, statements of requirements, tender or submission documents, selection and approval reports.
  • Review and provide expert advice on policy and guidelines to internal clients and stakeholders with respect to finance and accounts payable.
  • Undertake and manage financial activities related to contracts, vendor management and vendor payments.
  • Evaluating the company's compliance program.
  • Collating, checking and analysing spreadsheet data
  • Evaluating and reporting how well risk management is being handled within a company - evaluating information security and risk exposures.
  • Providing continued education and advice to different business units and teams regarding compliance and risk assessment.
  • Anticipating emerging issues through data and assessment.
  • Communicating with a variety of stakeholders.
  • The ability to work comfortably in a team environment.
