Financial / Management Accountant

Excellent career opportunity to partner up with a progressive and growing alternative investment house who are looking to add bench strength to their Finance & Accounting team.

Responsibilities:

This position will require someone with experience across the majority of disciplines key to support and in instance lead in the delivery across the finance function.

• Production of monthly financial and management accounts - payments, bank reconciliations and account code reconciliations.
• Investor reporting - quarterly and biannual valuations, annual tax packs, processing of withdrawals.
• Ownership of a number of accounts from preparation to board sign off.
• Analysis and production of VAT returns.
• Contributing to the design, development and enhancement of existing system & processes to deliver efficiency and improved control.
• Undertaking ad-hoc tasks to include queries from the sales team, group finance team etc.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

Skills & Experience:

• Part-Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with 1-3 years experience
• Background ideally within financial services but this is not essential and open to a range of background
• This position would suit a self-motivated, confident individual with a proven background in accounting.
• Interest or passion in the sector
• Highly numerate with strong academics
• Proactive and highly motivated
• Precision and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to deal with people at all levels
• Organised, ability to multi-task and prioritise a varied workload
• Team player
• Flexible attitude and willingness to evolve with the business
