Global Accounting Network are exclusively partnered with an established creative agency based in central London to recruit for an experienced part-qualified Finance Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. This is a newly created position to support an established regional finance team covering international operations across EMEA. This part-qualified Finance Analyst job will involve supporting with ensuring accurate financial results and forecasts are reported accurately and timely.

Responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to group reporting deadlines, liaising with head office to resolve reporting issues and ad-hoc requests, monthly financial reviews of your selected territories including analysis of the P&L and balance sheet, quarterly reviews of the P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations, including review of local trial balances, management of net working capital, identifying problem areas and interacting with the operating units to resolve issues, quarterly reviews of budgets and reforecasts, participating in meetings with senior stakeholders of each business unit ensuring full understanding of performance and variance analysis, ensuring regional SOX controls are adhered to, system and policy training, bi-annual audit support and providing general support to local finance leads, assisting with any reporting issues. Additionally travel may be required on an ad-hoc basis internationally (once permitted) as will the need to provide ad-hoc support with regional tasks.

The ideal candidate will come from a media agency background, having worked within an operational business unit. Experience understanding the full P&L, balance sheets, budgeting and forecasting process is essential, as is the desire to progress into an analytical role at group level. This would suit a candidate studying CIMA who is keen to gain exposure in a key position whilst partnering with senior stakeholders across a global organisation. You should be an intelligent self-starter who is confident in dealing with people and capable of multi-tasking as you will have to manage multiple business units with varying demand.
