We are representing a leading Venture Capital company based in the City that is looking to hire a recently qualified ACA. This is to join as a Fund Accountant in their growing Finance team.
The role is a broad and the ideal first step outside of practice for any ambitious ACA. The position will leverage off you're the skills and knowledge learned from your ACA qualification whilst also provide you with challenges, new experiences and the opportunity to learn and develop. You will get exposure to all aspects of the finance function and be responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting as well as ad-hoc projects for other functions. Some of the responsibilities include:
• Accounting & audit for the management entities and its subsidiaries
• Monitoring and liaising with the Administrators of the various fund entities
• Prepare reporting schedules for the quarterly investor reports
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of financial statements
• Provide ad hoc support to the investment team
• Assist and help prepare interest schedules on efront (firm's portfolio investment software)
• Draft investor drawdowns and distributions
• Liaise with fund administrators in preparing capital account statements, drawdown and distribution statements
• Deal with ad hoc investor queries
