Job Description
We have a new role to join our Internal Audit department as a Senior IT Auditor. This is a new role that requires someone to be proactive, delivery-focused and an agile thinker. If this sounds like a role that you would be interested in, please apply as we would love to hear from you!
What you'll do
TP is a people-focused business. Before, during and after audits, the Senior IT Auditor will develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, in the IT function (GTS) and beyond, to identify risks and assess assurance needs. Proactively contribute to the IT annual audit plan in conjunction with the IT Audit Manager to ensure the optimum breadth of risk coverage is gained. Actively seek opportunities to mentor junior team members and share understanding of IT developments and impacts with the wider Internal Audit team.
As the Senior IT Auditor you will lead and deliver risk-based IT audits across GTS and the wider group whilst also tracking and documenting progress on any agreed audit actions. It is also important for you to drive continuous improvement of the Internal Audit function.
Is this you?
To be considered, you will need an IT Audit related qualification such as CISA, CISSP or equivalent with technical experience. If you are currently working within GTS, don't worry if you don't have Audit experience this is something that we can teach you! What's important is that you have a broad technical knowledge across various areas of IT and a sense of curiosity. You must have the ability to communicate complex or technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a simplified way. Due to the nature of the role you will need to be comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
