We are looking for a 'hands-on' Business Analyst to work on a number of Finance System related projects within Liberty Global Shared Services.

The role will be based from our offices in Bradford, West Yorkshire, with travel expected to other sites within the UK/EU as and when required.

The candidate will have experience working on various corporate, back-office, finance system & change activities. They must be experienced working with stakeholders within the organisation at all levels.

This will be a varied role and will require the successful candidate to get involved in multiple in-flight projects as well as drive the start of new ones.

Typically, the business analyst will be working closely with the Lead Business Analyst, Project Managers, Technology/Business Solution Owners and 3rd party application providers and support service teams.

Experience working on the below types or projects is desirable, but not essential:

• Finance, Procurement, Payment, Treasury, Supply Chain, BI e.g. Oracle ERP (E-Business Suite & Oracle ERP Cloud), EPM, Ariba, Trax, Quantum etc.
• Cloud based infrastructure (IaaS)
• Cloud based applications (SaaS)
• Travel Management Systems
• Bespoke in-house systems that integrate with core applications

Key Attributes and Duties:

• Experience working on multiple complex global projects
• Co-ordination with business stakeholders to understand the business demand and support prioritisation within the overall demand/delivery roadmap
• Capture, analyse and document business processes
• Requirement gathering, analysis, impact assessment (fit-gap) and validation of the business need and alignment to a new way of working
• Data mapping activities for financial and non-financial data
• Capture and maintain requirement traceability through design and delivery
• Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements
• Prepare and maintain project related documentation
• Preparation and delivery of workshops
• Coordinate with project team to ensure final deliverables meet stakeholder objectives
• Support lead Business Analyst
• Support testing of functionality and processes
• Support training of functionality and processes
• Upskill new users and share knowledge within the team
• Support adoption of new operating procedures and provide post go-live support to business users

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience working on various corporate, back-office, and finance system implementation & change activities
• Working in a global team, virtually and face to face when required
• Experience of developing, maintaining and reviewing process documentation
• Experience of managing business change with an emphasis on operational requirements and the end user
• Experience writing solution design documents, functional specifications, evaluating and refining business requirements
• Experience of working with a Shared Service centre model
• Experience in presenting to large business group users
• Ability to translate functional detail to a non-technical audience
• Familiarity with integrations and data requirements between multiple systems
• Experience working with a third party vendors
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, in particular Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
