Job Descriptor - Packet Core Engineer
• 5+ years of experience in SGSN/GGSN/DNS/PCRF/RECC & connecting interfaces for Fault Management & Configuration Management. • Understanding & functional knowledge interdisciplinary network (RAN, Data CORE, IP, Tx). • Mobility services for Enterprise customers for network nodes interworking protocol, MPLS, IP routing & switching basics. • To provide 24 x 7 L2 support to Emergency & critical incidences for all packet core nodes (Cisco/Nokia/Zte/Huawei) across VIL network for Enterprise customers. • Daily FM level 2 tasks work on assigned TTs and coordination with respective teams and customer to ensure minimize down time. • Provide technical support for testing & implementation during new Enterprise customer on boarding to mobility platform. • Troubleshooting with the help of wireshark traces, system logs, event logs & correlation with alarms during service outages by ensuring troubleshooting within TAT. • Proactive issue identification by analysing data from Performance Management tools. • Reactive Problem Management for repeated incident handling for Packet Core Domain. • Routine Health Checks for all nodes & Maintaining tracker for reported fault on daily basis. • Supporting to Change Management teams for smooth and fault free MW during network changes.
