My client is one of the largest fast fashion retailers in the world. With a strong network of suppliers to sustain their growing worldwide business, they have a well-established and at the same time growing sourcing office in HK. To cope with their operations and growth, they are now looking for an Accountant to join their accounting an finance function.

about the role

Reporting to the Finance Manager and working a in sizeable, 20-person finance team, you will be responsible for the full sets of accounts for the company's HK sourcing business. This will be covering the all rounded AP, AR and GL, as well as monthly closing and financial reporting. You will also be collaborating with the accountants and assistant manager and review the works done by the accounts clerk and accounting officers, while providing guidance to them if necessary. On top of that, you will also be assisting on the year end audit process, while ensuring operating efficiency and compliance with internal controls policies.

skills and experience required

• 5+ years of full sets of accounts experience, preferably from retail, FMCG, sourcing industries
• Driven, passionate, a friendly person who enjoys working in a multicultural and teamwork driven environment
• Fluency in English and Chinese
• Student / Associate members of CPA or ACCA
• Degree holder in Accounting or other relevant disciplines
