The Bookkeeper supports clients with all their accounting and general bookkeeping compliance work. The Bookkeeper must ensure work is completed in line with industry legislation and regulations as well as Group policies and procedures.We are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual, who is very adaptable to keep moving with the pace of the bookkeeping profession. You will be very familiar with the following programs: XERO, MYOB, and Quickbooks with a keen interest in all types of cloud applications, and proficient in the various programs add on applications. You will have an empathy and understanding towards both external clients and internal staff to assist them to grow their cloud accounting knowledge, implement change strategies and to help them build better business opportunities.Other responsibilities include:• Maintenance of transactional business records for clients;• Assist in the preparation of Business Activity Statements;• Preparation of client reporting requirements as a virtual CFO;• Assist in ensuring effective client data preparation is implemented including client demonstration;• Ensure jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines, within budget.We are looking for candidates who:• Secondary School Certificate or equivalent• Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping) or a Bachelor of Commerce (advantageous not essential)• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Excellent attention to detail and be highly organiseBenefits to you• A culture that values work life balance.• Be offered a career pathway and development programme tailored to your professional aspirations.• Study support including study leave and fee reimbursement for CA or CPA subscriptions.• In house and external training.• Wellbeing benefits eg.
