Supporting the Reporting & Control Accountant in preparation of timely and accurate external and shareholder financial reporting, including statutory accounts and monthly reporting.

Description

The successful candidate will be involved in:

• Supporting the Reporting & Control Accountant in preparation of timely and accurate external and shareholder financial reporting, including statutory accounts and monthly reporting
• Ownership of monthly reporting
• Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations as directed by the Reporting and Analysis Manager, including analysis and investigation of reconciling items
• Supporting the Reporting & Control Accountant in preparation of accurate and timely quarterly VAT returns
• Supporting the Reporting & Control Accountant in provision of audit and tax deliverables as part of the annual audit and tax compliance work
• Preparation and maintenance of Financial Control process documentation
• Sage X3 super user for report writing.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification
• Experience of year end statutory reporting and audit
• Experience of systems and processes change
• Experience of IFRS reporting
• Proactive communicator and self-starter
• Experience working in an evolving business and finance function.
