We are offering an exciting opportunity to join FIS for 10 weeks during the Summer 2021. You will be part of our FIS University - Summer Internship Program and have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, and professional development seminars.
About The Team
In 2019, FIS acquired Worldpay, a global leader in e-commerce and payments, forming the Merchant Solutions division of FIS.
This role sits in the Small and Medium sized Business segment (SMB) Go-to-Market team (GtM), a core part of the Strategy and GtM function.
The team focuses on driving and accelerating revenue for SMB which includes merchants with turnover of up to $50m. We work closely with SMB Leadership, Commercial teams and other functions across the organisation such as Product, Marketing, Finance, etc. to drive go-to-market planning, readiness and execution for key SMB products, and lead the SMB business through key transformation programs that result in improved customer experience, growth and efficiencies.

What You Will Be Doing
- Support the SMB GtM senior strategy manager with leading the Integrated payments business transformation program
- Support project management of the program, working across the SMB business to track progress of key initiatives
- Prepare regular program updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders, working across the business to collate the required updates and insights
- Support with ad-hoc strategic initiatives as well as market and competitor analysis
- Develop your problem-solving, strategic thinking, communication and project management skills, and gain proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Provide insight to senior management
Who We Are Looking For
- Penultimate year of an undergraduate degree, or in your final year of an undergraduate degree with a one-year postgraduate place confirmed
- An interest in financial technology, including payments technology and products
- A Confident, clear, proactive communicator (both written and verbal), able to listen and work well with others while being confident where required
- You demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills
