Your main responsibilities as the Senior Accountant would include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities
• Preparing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations
• Maintaining the general ledger system
• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
• Preparing financial statements for multi-hospital system
• Assisting with budget preparation and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses
• Overseeing the maintenance of the fixed asset system
Requirements
The ideal Senior Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.
Other requirements for the Senior Accountant position include and are not limited to:
• 5++ year's of accounting experience, healthcare experience preferred
• Previous cash accounting experience required
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, hands on knowledge of Oracle and BlackLine
• Able to work independently and as a part of a team
• Strong organizational skills preferred
• Critical thinking and problem solving
