Position Summary
The School of Business at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania seeks to build a pool of adjunct temporary instructors. This pool will be active from May 20, 2019 to May 31, 2021.
In accounting we seek candidates in Financial, Managerial, Cost, Tax, Non-Profit, and other accounting related areas.
In economics we seek candidates in microeconomics, macroeconomics, health care economics, and other economic related areas.
In finance we seek candidates in managerial finance, corporate finance, financial management, international finance, and other finance related areas.
Candidates with relevant work experience and an interest in teaching will be considered. Faculty members are contractually obligated to engage in continuing scholarly development, academic advising, as well as performing department and university-wide service.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance, or in a closely related area with substantial graduate course-work in Accounting, Economics, or Finance. Successful performance in a phone or video interview. Commitment to the education of diverse populations, perceived ability to work productively with students and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
A graduate degree from a AACSB accredited institution is preferred.
