Due to significant progress, we are now seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to be based in Mascot. The role is responsible for providing assistance to the Reporting and Analysis Manager with the consolidation and preparation of all internal and external reporting obligations. The position will also assist in developing financial accounting and compliance functions within the Business Management framework.

Key duties and responsibilities:
  • Responsible for month end closing including journal entries, reconciliation and provide finance support to program manager.
  • Project set up and maintain Employee and Contractor List Management of fixed assets registers.
  • Preparation of deliverables for AU & US reporting, management reporting and financial analysis.
  • Assist with completion of annual financial statements and statutory accounts.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the forecast and budget.
  • Supporting the external and internal audit process.
  • Participate in driving continuous improvement and automation of financial processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships to promote coordinated financial management practises across the organisation.
  • Provide assistance and support with ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • CA/CPA qualification.
  • Proficient in using office applications e.g. Excel.
  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills.
  • Committed to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive in resolving issues.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and to work successfully in a team.
