The Corporate Accountant is responsible for the accounting and administration activities for corporate-related finance.

Works directly with the Finance Director, Financial Controller, and FP&A Manager on areas such as Treasury; Corporate Company Reporting and preparation of statutory financial statements; Corporate budgets; FBT, GST, Tax compliance; Lease administration; Ad hoc financial evaluations; and general Corporate Administration and Compliance.

Ensure compliance with local financial standards, guidelines, and policies as well as with Estee Lauder Global financial policies.

Manage and coordinate audit requirements and any ad hoc finance projects as requested. Advise the Genpact RTR team on any policy changes that may require a change to current RTR processes. Provide any tax minimisation advice post reviews with tax agents and updates to current tax legislation.

Ensures Customer and Market Growth
  • Communication with tax and audit partners and review of data requests with business users and with Genpact
  • Ensure company compliance is adhered to concerning any financial information and funding/debt requests
  • Regularly communicate with local tax bodies/agencies ensuring compliance with Australian standards and respond to any queries

Manages Operational Effectiveness

  • Manage the Tririga lease system and ensure accurate reporting of lease obligations (incl SOX requirements), maintenance of Lease Schedules including site restoration provision, and liaison with landlords, legal partners, and Citibank
  • Back up authorised bank signatory on supplier/employee based out-going payments - review appropriate authorisations from the business/Genpact are in place
  • Direct entry invoice processing of corporate/financial invoices to be processed

  • Prepare the accounts review of SAP ledger accounts for GST, FBT/Tax Compliance (entertainment/sundry reporting), and final preparation of returns for annual lodgement
  • Ensures all tax and statutory lodgements are completed within the requisite due dates
  • Prepare monthly GST tax, FBT, income tax, and withholding tax reporting - transaction review and analysis
