This business is an ASX Listed Saas technology company based in the CBD. They are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join the team for 12 months fixed term contract covering a maternity leave.
The role will be responsible for producing month end reporting, assisting with the audit, balance sheet reconciliations and ad hoc tasks to support the finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or newly qualified Accountant who is eager to be challenged and help assist with the companies next period of growth.
For the right candidate there is possibility for this role to become permanent due to company growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly profit and loss statements
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Fixed assets, prepayments, monthly accruals and GL reconciliations
- Assisting with the BAS, FBT
- Supporting the finance team with the year end audit
- Effectively being able to identity and improve financial processes (automation/ centralisation).
- Managing the AP system for the Group
Key Requirements:
- Completed CA or CPA qualification
- At least 2-4 years' experience working in a similar role with strong knowledge of technical accounting
- Excellent communication skills, ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders of the business
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- ASX experience/ knowledge of Concur is advantageous but not essential
