We have an exciting opportunity as a Senior Business Analyst with the Department of Premier and Cabinet's Whole of Victorian Government Application Programming Interface Team which provides API consulting services, technology and API development to support the growing demand for APIs to be used in the delivery of government services.

As Senior Business Analyst in the API Team you will work with an incredibly wide variety of Victorian Government entities and external vendors to understand, document and guide API integrations from concept through planning, design, build and implementation. The WoVG API Team is tasked with uplifting the quality and technical interoperability of systems across the Victorian government.

The successful candidate will also play a key role in guiding and educating technical and non-technical stakeholders on the capabilities of APIs, the technology and services we provide and industry best practices.

Please note: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, working remotely arrangements are in place.

The closing date for this position is midnight 10 March 2021.

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years as a Consultant, Product Specialist or Business Analyst within a corporate/government environment.
  • Minimum 3 years working with software products in an implementation capacity.
  • Detailed knowledge of APIs and their applicability within both business and technical contexts.
