Role Description:

Guru Projects is looking for a driven, energetic resourceful person to join a young and vibrant team of designers, project managers and builders, to help cope with the fast growth of the company!

Your role is to do general full set book keeping using XERO and assist the director with daily tasks and duties, record minutes of meetings, manage calendars and appointments, manage social media and liaise with developers to manage the website and portfolio.
If you are sharp, quick and driven person with a positive proactive attitude who is keen to learn about this industry.

Duties include:

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Bookkeeping using Xero

• coordinating payroll

• entering and paying of all creditors (supplier payments and expenses)

• following up debtors

• answering all creditors queries;

• using online banking systems to manage accounts payable for clients;

• General bookkeeping

• Office admin tasks

• preparing weekly and EOM entries for Xero, monthly direct payments and GST

• printing and compiling of financial documentation / reporting of job costs and budgets

• reconciling all bank accounts on a weekly and/or quarterly basis when required; and

• liaising with managers and clients on a regular basis.
