What you'll be doing

The Finance Business partner role is expected to:
  • Influence and support divisional and departmental managers of a portfolio of services to achieve the desired financial outcomes of the organization. This includes planning, implementing and monitoring of governance structures to control and manage the use of financial resources and budgets.
  • As an integral member of the divisional management team, bring key financial and commercial insights to the decision making process and be seen as an authority on financial matters for the divisions.
  • Work closely with the Facility Finance Manager and the Senior Management Accountant to ensure alignment of the relevant portfolio to strategic facility and LHD intentions.

Selection Criteria:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in management, business or accounting or extensive equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated evidence of experience in financial or business management.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills that support the primary business function of a large organisation.
  • Demonstrated high level analytical skills using financial, statistical, human resources and management data systems to pro-actively improve business performance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, marketing and customer service skills applicable in both a technical and business context.
  • Computer and systems literacy; particularly in Microsoft Office products and Oracle financials.
  • Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills, proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both within and team environment and independently.
