Job Title: Regional Finance Analyst

Location: Remote during COVID-19. Travel to BCA Manchester thereafter.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000

Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday

Job Status: Permanent

Main purpose of role:

The role will involve supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner in the FP&A process, providing key insights across functional areas of the business as well as supporting the wider Regional Finance team activities across UK Remarketing locations.

Role Accountabilities:

Strategic/Tactical/Operational
  • As well as regular reporting, provide ad-hoc analysis and decision support for key areas of the business
  • Working with the Regional Finance team to develop controls and procedures to ensure that all key financial and operational issues are identified, communicated and captured on a timely basis
  • Supporting all commercial analysis activities such as customer profitability analysis & calculation of rebates.
  • Support the wider Regional Finance team workstreams to steer the business towards growth.
  • Assist the Regional Finance Team through potential operational systems changes and upgrades.


Financial or commercial accountabilities:
  • Consolidate branch, subsidiary and central function budgets and forecasts for submission to Group Finance
  • Assist with preparation of budgets and for specific items of income and expenditure and cost centres

  • Head of Regional Finance
  • Commercial & Operations Finance Director - UK Remarketing
  • UK Remarketing Financial Controller
  • Operational Managers/Directors


Knowledge and Experience Required:

Essential
  • Part-qualified accountant (Study support available)
  • Self-starter and not be phased by building reports from scratch and validating own work before sharing.
  • Able to work on own initiative with a minimum of supervision but maintaining a focus on teamwork
  • Be commercially aware and possess strong numerical skills with a keen desire to question and challenge information to ensure high reliability
  • Possess well-developed analytical skills combined with the ability to present detailed information clearly and succinctly to Senior Management
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Advanced Excel skills would be a necessity including Lookup tables, 'if' statements, graph manipulation
  • Tenacious and resilient with the ability to cope with a high workload and strict deadlines
  • Able to work and deliver results in a fast moving and high-pressured environment with changing priorities


Desirable
  • 2 Years' experience within industry
  • Qlikview experience
  • Project Management experience would be an advantage
