A large Not for Profit organisation is looking for an Accountant to join the team on a temporary basis and implement Business Central for the organisation

Client Details

A large Not for Profit organisation in Central London with access to work from home

Description

Document business processes and workflows, ensuring they meet both user and system requirements.

Make suggestions as to how our processes can be improved and/or best optimised given the architectural requirements imposed by Business Central * Prepare a detailed implementation plan that will deliver the project within time, budget and scope.

Prepare user acceptance testing scripts that ensure that all necessary processes are documented and that users feel confident in testing them.

Coordinate all testing to a high standard, and work with our supplier to ensure issues are resolved in a manner commensurate with project time, cost and scope.

Set up Jet reports for group management accounts and project reporting (e.g. staff utilisation and project costs).

Keep the organisation up to date on progress and demonstrate progress in the appropriate forums.

Hold regular collaboration sessions throughout implementation and provide demos through key organisational communication channels.

Clearly communicate the benefits of transitioning to a new system to all teams affected, as well the steps required from teams to transition to the new system

Profile

In-depth knowledge of Business Central and Jet reporting.

In-depth knowledge of project resourcing principles including budget and staff allocation and the interplay with wider accounting system

Experience of taking a lead role in the implementation of Business Central.

A collaborative and user-centred approach to system implementation, for example through Agile or SCRUM methodologies.

Experience of working in a similar role with the ability to apply problem solving skills and take responsibility for resolving issues.

Experience of engaging staff across an organisation through transition to new processes and systems.

Professional confidence and excellent communication skills (written, visual and verbal) including the ability to explain complex ideas and principles to a wide range of audiences.

Excellent team working skills including the ability to contribute proactively and supportively to the delivery of wider team initiatives
