Page Personnel is working in partnership with a fast growing business in Liverpool to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant.

Client Details

This is an award-winning business that has been in operation for over 30 years. They have reinvested a lot of their profits back into the business, have raisde a significant amount of capital investment and acquired new machinery to increase their projections over the coming years. They have a well established accountancy team with strong qualified accountants who are mentoring the part qualified members of the team with their development.

Description

In this role as Assistant Management Accountant, you will support the Financial Controller in developing the management information reporting processes to help improve the quality of information distributed across the business. Day to day duties will include:

  • Assisting in the production of monthly management accounts
  • Posting journals and accruals and prepayments
  • Assisting in the budgeting process and monthly forecasting
  • Variance analysis
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Managing the bank accounts
  • Analysing key contracts and project accounting

Profile

The successful applicant to this Assistant Management Accountant role must have the following:

  • CIMA/ACCA studier with ambition to grow with the business and develop into a qualified accountant
  • Exposure to the management accounts process
  • Strong Excel skills - able to extract/manipulate data, v look ups, pivot tables
  • Great communicator and can build relationships across the wider business
