About the role

Based in Hyde (currently remote working)

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Accountant to join the Kerry Foods team in Hyde.

Key responsibilities of the role:

To inform, challenge and support the site in achieving its purpose through the provision and interpretation of key management information. In particular:

  • Financial reporting of and insight into Hyde’s cost of sales and overheads to ensure the best factory decisions and improvements are made based on accurate and insightful information.
  • Management and control of Capex Process including Governance, Set Up, Tracking and Monthly Reporting of all Capital Projects and annual Fixed Asset Verifications to meet audit requirements.
  • Build highly effective relationships with key cross functional personnel involved in Hyde. Support and influence management team at Hyde site to deliver conversion cost improvements.
  • Help to drive and embed a continuous improvement culture across both the finance and site teams. Improving systems, processes and reporting where necessary in line with Lean principles.
  • Support and develop the finance team.
  • Identify any additional opportunities for KBS Team to support Hyde Finance on Daily / Weekly / Monthly tasks eliminating duplication and adding value to the Hyde Finance function.
  • Your Profile:
  • CIMA / ACCA Qualification
  • Min. 3 years post Qualification FMCG experience
  • Hands on Management Accounting Experience within a Manufacturing Site including COS & OHDS variance analysis
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Business knowledge
  • IT Skills – Excel Advanced User, SAP, Power BI
  • Leading creative and agile problem solving
  • Leading collective performance
  • People Management experience.
