Client Details
Industry-leading company in Real Estate sector, after a sustained period of growth & success, is now seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis professional to join their Derby team.
The financial team is versatile & capable, and they are looking for a data-driven commercial accountant to learn & grow within the organisation, supporting with both commercial & technical finance functions.
Description
Reporting into the Corporate Finance team, you will be:
- Key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide monthly financial insight & analysis on associate business performance
- Provide Financial Modelling & analysis for new financial information
- Support the group's interim and year-end accounts reporting process
- Take ownership of subsidiary accounts process
- Liaise closely with wider Finance team to provide ad hoc analysis & support where required
Profile
- Part or fully qualified accountant, ACA preferred
- Strong Excel skills - Essential
- Strong financial modelling / data analysis ability
- Confident engaging with multiple senior Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders
- Track record of improving processes
- Analysis of complex data sets with succinct written commentary
- Experience of working with multiple entity "Group" situations
- Experience of working in a changing environment
- Confident to report information concisely to senior management
- Understanding of year end and reporting process
- Experienced in dealing with sensitive information
