Job description:

Data Cleanse Analyst

Primary objective of the job:

Cleanse and remediate data issues in legacy finance systems in advance of data migration and participate in data migration activities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Digicel Finance and Technology teams to extract data from legacy finance systems for analysis (and migration)
  • Work with the data migration teams to ensure sufficient data is available for migration into the new platform, including validation/translation of legacy codes into new
  • Work with data owners and functional/process leads to establish data quality criteria and KPIs
  • Analyse the extracted data against the quality criteria and provide direction to the business and data owners to improve data quality, including enhancing existing BaU processes to improve the quality of the data on entry/update
  • Embed data quality monitoring processes and tools into the appropriate business units (and SSC) to assure data quality going forward
  • Support the data migration & reconciliation processes

Academic qualifications and experience required:
  • Finance /Accounting Degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience of Microsoft GP, Dynamics or AX platforms
  • Demonstrable experience of SQL and ETL products
  • Experience of data migration and cleansing activities on an ERP implementation, preferably SaaS (cloud)
  • Data governance experience
