Your role

As a Business Manager - Business Banking, CommSec and Markets Tech you will take ownership of ensuring that our technology team operating processes, across our institutional banking technology teams are robust, operate efficiently and ensure a world class product experience for our customers. This role will encompass a resource management, PMO and business management responsibilities.

Key duties will include:

• Lead a small team of project officers providing support to large projects as well as centralised reporting, finance and on boarding functions for the platform.
• Design and operation of processes to standardise project setup and financials, staff on boarding and reporting.
• Maintain platform project pipeline from idea to execution including project status, execution readiness and funding.
• Act as the "front door" to the traded products platform and point of contact for bank-wide and cross platform initiatives.
• Facilitate project initiation by guiding internal clients and senior technologists through project initiation processes, coordinating workshops, collating project estimates and tracking actions.

A key challenge will be balancing the above appetite for introducing revolutionary technologies with the groups risk exposure. This program will sit at a critical junction between our institutional banking technology, retail banking technology and payments capability. These teams will hold joint accountability for ensuring that how we our operating and what we ask of our customers is in line with both their expectation and our regulatory commitments.

This role will suit a senior management level individual with previous experience delivering large, fast paced programs, involving multiple complex technology and stakeholder elements.

Our institutional banking technology functions take ownership of all platform activity across our Business Banking, CommSec and Global Markets product teams.

Your experience

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with Senior Management and clients
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Demonstrated ability to design, operate and improve standardised processes to achieve measurable outcomes
• Stakeholder management experience
• Familiarity with budget processes and financial reporting
