Accounts Payable Assistant job in Walsall, temporary job.
Your new company
A dynamic and busy organisation in the Walsall area require temporary support in their Finance team. This is an excellent role for someone with sound AP experience, to start immediately.
Your new role
You will be supporting purchase ledger, responsible for a variety of tasks including processing invoices, checking purchase order numbers and nominal coding, supplier statement reconciliation, resolving queries and dealing with suppliers. This is a full time role working Monday to Friday.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be experienced with processing up to 100 invoices per day and the above duties, accuracy is critical as well as working at pace. This role will suit someone with strong accounts payable experience, who is happy working in a large and friendly office where you will take responsibility for your duties as well as engaging with the team.
What you'll get in return
You will be working with a busy accounts team who offer support as well being supported through the role by a Hays consultant. The hourly rate is good, with holiday pay on top, there is also free onsite parking.
