Client Details

My client is a world-leader in the indie gaming industry. Multi-award winning and constantly looking to develop best-selling games for PC and console, the business continues to grow year-on-year and work with developers across the world to deliver the best in interactive entertainment.

Description

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Month end reporting of performance including provision of constructive commentary on monthly and year to date performance of the business
  • Being actively involved in the year end and interim audits
  • Preparation and maintenance of rolling forecasts
  • Weekly sales reporting
  • Business partnering with Heads of Departments
  • Review and distribution of quarterly royalty statements
  • Submission of quarterly group VAT return
  • Implementation and improvement of financial controls across the business
  • Supporting the Financial Controller on ad-hoc projects and tasks

Profile

  • Ideally ACA qualified (ACCA and CIMA with strong and proven background will be considered)
  • Demonstrable experience with management accounts
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of financial controls and process
  • Experience in identifying and implementing change initiatives/ financial improvements advantageous
  • Ability to build strong relationships with senior management and other stakeholders
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong systems skills, Excel, SAP, PowerPoint
  • Good commercial acumen
  • A strong desire to progress and commitment to continuous self-improvement is imperative
  • Must have the ability to manage own tasks and use initiative
