Page Personnel are recruiting an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis for a market leading organisation based just north of York.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be working as part of a fast paced finance team, responsible for assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts pack.
Duties will include, however are not limited to, managing the fixed asset register, posting journals such as accruals, prepayments and depreciation, processing supplier payments, supplier statement reconciliations, preparation of monthly VAT returns, daily bank reconciliations and KPI reporting.
This role will suit a strong accounts assistant or assistant accountant looking for the next step in a role relevant to studies within a fast paced and well performing organisation.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have worked in a relevant role previously
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have strong Excel skills
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
Job Offer
£23,000 - £25,000 + ACCA/CIMA/AAT study support + free on site parking + company pension scheme + permanent role
