SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for carrying out the accounting activity of the company in accordance with the legal provisions,
• Preparing tax calculations (VAT, CIT)
• Timely reporting to the Tax Authority, GUS, and NBP reporting,
• Preparing statutory financial statements and monthly closing periods,
• Cooperation with auditors,
• Updating and Implementation of accounting procedures,
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Developing and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Reporting ad hoc financial analysis
• Openness to the automation of the ERP system
• Accurate and timely recording of any documents affecting the company's assets and operations;
• Monthly preparation of the profit and loss account, balance sheet, month closing and summary of costs,
• Preparation of all regular internal and external financial reports,

Requirements:

• Master degree in Finance/ Accounting
• Significant level of experience in an accounting (min. 3 years of experience on a Senior Accountant position in an international company - production an asset)
• Good knowledge of accounting regulations (TAX and NATIONAL LEGAL)
• Problem solving ability and analytical acumen
• Solid technical accounting knowledge
• Fluency in English
• Good computer literacy essential together with a good working knowledge of ERP system
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Competence in managing multiple priorities and projects
• Accuracy and reliability
