Iconic Resourcing are currently working with a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Glasgow who are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their business services team. This is a progressive business with a strong focus on staff retention and development, despite the current turbulent economic climate.
You will have 1 2 years' ideally working in an accountancy practice environment with bookkeeping experience, and will be comfortable managing a portfolio of clients. Strong working knowledge of cloud accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks and Sage is essential
The role will involve a variety of duties, including the preparation of VAT returns, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, journal processing, processing invoices and fixed asset register. Due to the size of the team and overall success of the business, there is significant scope for progression and study support for a professional qualification (AAT/ACCA) is on offer. There is also an excellent employee benefits package included.
