The Senior Financial Analyst, Global Procurement is a critical role that will be instrumental to Loparex operational and strategic performance goals. The position provides financial support and leadership to the Global Procurement team through reporting on KPIs, in–depth analysis of internal trends and market movements and assists in developing projections for both short– and long–term forecasts. The role is instrumental in provided the information needed to drive the company to both its direct material and indirect spending goals.

JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent job–related experience

• Minimum 8 years of functional experience, with experience supporting global operations in industrial businesses

• Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to manage complex problems and drive a data–based continuous improvement ethic and high–performance culture

• Drive for results, a strong sense of urgency and proven change management experience to institutionalize lasting improvements through an organization

• Ability to drive projects through cross–functional teams across multi–cultural teams.

• Proven communication and conflict management skills

• Proficiency in Excel, Access and other standard reporting and analytical software, as well as a proven ability to learn and adapt to new software applications and systems (company recently deployed Alteryx & Power BI and is implementing SAP S/4 HANA)

• Experience working with Procurement teams and full understanding of Procurement metrics, KPIs and the methods these teams use to achieve their goals


PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides finance support to the CPO and his team and acts as an integral member of the team

• Provides analysis in support of Procurement strategies, which will help identify and prioritize continuous improvement opportunities

• Responsible for setting the global reporting standard for Procurement and collaborating with regional and plant level finance teams to implement and deploy new reporting processes

• Assists in setting intercompany transfer prices as needed for raw materials and coordinating with the Sr Analyst of Supply Chain

• Directly supports the Procurement team with performance metrics, monthly reporting and analysis as required

• Helps prioritize projects ensuring that company resources are always deployed for the best economic and strategic return

• Manages and further develops the company's Inflation/Deflation tracking tool and integrates it with the new ERP (SAP) and other applicable software platforms

• Supports the annual operating plan (AOP), the company's strategic planning process, and monthly forecasting procedures

• Collaborates with Supply Chain to drive optimization of the company's transportation lanes to lower overall logistic costs and the amount of on–hand raw material inventory required to maintain operations

• Assist in the deployment and implementation of the new ERP/MES platforms

• Analyze the company's supplier payment terms and identify opportunities to drive improvements in overall cashflow while aligning with company's overall cash strategy

• Works with Commercial Finance team/Analysts to help develop target/ "should costing" for the raw materials being used in the company's new product pipeline
