About the role...

Preventing Financial Crime, managing arising fraud patterns and risk mitigation is one of the core requirements of our business. By leveraging data points from third party providers as well as machine learning capabilities WorldRemit is looking for an outstanding communicator, analytic mindset and highly knowledgeable individual that will be working closely with our Fraud, Operations, Product and Technology teams.

As a member of WorldRemit's Product team you will aim high, embrace challenge and always do what's right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company's technical direction and long term decision making.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will:
  • Document and analyse workflows, systems and data points used in the business
  • Clearly identify issues and opportunities for more efficient and cost optimised processes, tooling, vendors, data management etc.
  • Be confident across a number of techniques to gather, model and visualise data
  • Scope business goals in cooperation with main stakeholders and plan steps to achieve these across various departments as needed
  • Assist with the implementation and support of business information systems and third party vendors
  • Manage the integration work with technology partners (SDKs/APIs)
  • Be confident in data analysis (DB queries)
  • Assist in requirements gathering, RFP processes and response evaluation
  • Communicate with tech teams on a daily basis and take full ownership of Jira / backlog management
  • Work closely with the operational and engineering teams to have a detailed understanding of the problems, opportunities and potential solutions


What we're looking for from you...
  • Experienced Agile Business Analyst who knows what good looks like
  • Not afraid of taking on ambiguous initiatives and turning them into a set of clear goals and tangible outcomes
  • Knowledgeable about Agile / Lean software delivery methodologies and practices
  • Experience in gathering functional and non functional requirements, writing user stories and mapping out processes
  • Team player with the commercial mindset to drive tech work for highest business impact
  • Experienced in managing senior stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good technical and business understanding based on previous experience in financial services, fraud and compliance
  • Strong understanding of current regulations and best practices in fraud/compliance
  • Manage the integration work with technology partners from discovery through to technical implementation and rollout (workflows, APIs, error scenarios and management, training, test & go to market support)
