This role supports the management accounting team for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (the DACH region) and the in-country CFO. You will deliver the management accounting month end P&L and Balance Sheets to agreed timelines and quality, providing management accounting support to the business.
You will be responsible for the reconciliation of takings and payroll data, uploading this to the accounting system. You will calculate accruals and prepayments, along with reconciliation of balance sheets and other key P&L account drivers. Preparing surgery P&L accounts, you will provide clear explanations for variances and backup if required. You will also present and explain surgery performance to the DACH Finance Manager and in-country CFO on a monthly basis.
What are we looking for?
• Experienced in management accounting roles in similar sized organisations
• Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment - flexibility is key
• Strong attention to detail, able to deliver right-first-time results quickly
• Deadline focused, willing to put in the effort required to ensure they are always met
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work well within the team and communicate with in-country representatives
• Excellent IT skills including excel, and confident on various management reporting systems
• German language skills are desirable but not essential
• Experience of Open Accounts would be an advantage
