Senior Finance Analyst - Business Analysis

This Senior Analyst - Business Analysis role offers a unique opportunity to be a truly commercially focused Business Partner. You will be responsible for delivering insightful analysis to effectively communicate answers to key business questions that directly influence the day-to-day and long term strategy of TJX.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner across the entire organisation to support both financially and analytically towards their goals and priorities
• Work with the Commercial Analysis Manager to provide cohesive analytical support on ad hoc financial analyses that drive strategic business decisions
• Continually challenge current thinking and make recommendations on how to optimise business opportunities and minimise risk/cost to the business
• Work with business partners to build financial business cases to support large scale investments
• Support the business to conduct trials, consult non finance professionals on Test and Learn best practice, analyse results using statistical software and present findings back to Senior Leadership
• Develop an understanding of the competitive pressures that the business faces and their potential implications and provide business alternatives/solutions

Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Highly analytical and comfortable working in ambiguity, with an ability to use business intelligence to generate impactful insight
• Curious to learn and understand the off-price retail model
• Proactive with strong initiative and drive to problem solve
• An excellent communicator - skilled in translating financial or complex analysis in a simple and effective manner, to a non-technical audience at different levels
• Be comfortable with complexity, multiple and large data sets and analytical tools such as Tableau and Alteryx is desirable
• Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or similar business planning experience required
• Experience within a consumer facing business (Retail/FMCG) desirable
