We're really excited about this newly created Finance Manager role in our European Facilities Management Team, which is part of our Property / Real Estate function.

Reporting into our Head of Facilities Management and working closely with the Finance Business Partner, you'll be responsible for all aspects of the financial administration management of the Facilities function as well as playing a part in how we continue to invest our budget across our Estate.

Your key responsibilities as Finance Manager will include:

  • Preparing the annual Facilities Management (FM) budget and managing the Capex application / approval / expenditure processes;
  • Closely managing and reviewing expenditure to ensure accurate forecasts and spend is within budget at a regional and national level;
  • Working with the finance team and Facilities Management leadership team to create future budgets, with particular focus on future capital expenditure;
  • Creating the monthly finance pack for our Property Senior Leadership Team;
  • Managing the process for all revenue purchase orders and ensuring all processes are within budget at a regional and national level
  • Utilising key data and partnering with Regional FM managers to ensure all SLA's & KPI's are delivered in line with contractual agreements.

What are we looking for?

  • Knowledge and experience of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting;
  • If you have worked in a facilities management / property / real estate environment / construction environment, this will be beneficial although not mandatory;
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Confidence and ability to influence at all level of the business;
  • Strong administration skills and attention to detail
  • A financial qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA) is beneficial although we are interested in hearing from part-qualified candidates.
