The National Comparative Audit of Blood Transfusion programme works with NHS and Independent hospitals in the UK to improve the quality of blood transfusion practice. A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Clinical Audit Facilitator to assist with the creation, operation and reporting of national audits.

This post gives an opportunity for someone with a substantial clinical audit experience to join the programme and become involved in a range of clinical audit activities. The post will involve collaborative work with Transfusion Practitioners, clinicians and others working in transfusion medicine and so the individual appointed will have excellent communication skills. A good working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and databases along with prioritisation skills is essential.
