The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is one of the largest acute and community providers in the West Midlands having more than 800 beds on the New Cross site including intensive care beds and neonatal intensive care cots.

It also has 80 rehabilitation beds at West Park Hospital and 54 beds at Cannock Chase Hospital.

As the second largest employer in Wolverhampton the Trust employs more than 8,000 staff.

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust has a number of vacancies for Band 2 Accounts Payable Clerks, to work within our Finance department. The posts are full time; 37.5hrs per week Monday - Friday. However a job share or part time may be considered for the ideal candidates.

The main responsibilities are ensuring that invoices addressed to the Trust are paid in a timely manner with accordance to the Trust's Standing Financial Instructions, and internal procedures.

Candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills, be well organised and able to work as part of a team to meet deadlines. Computer Literacy is essential and previous experience of working within a fast paced environment. Previous experience working within a Finance department is required.
