Arden & GEM is one of the largest Commissioning Support Units in the country. Our customers include more than 60 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG), NHS England, local authorities and a range of care providers.

With offices throughout the Midlands, North West and South East we cover a core geographic patch that extends to Greater Manchester in the north and Essex in the south. Our services are built on a strong foundation of experienced people who build great relationships, a commitment to NHS values and a thorough understanding of our clients and the challenges they face.

We provide real value to our customers by working at scale, creating the synergies and innovation that ultimately drives improved patient outcomes and makes commissioning resources work harder.

Our cornerstones are quality, value, innovation and complete customer focus.

ArdenGEM CSU is looking for two Financial Accountants to join the team. One post is to work in the Essex team providing Financial Accounts support for Year End to the four Essex CCG's supported by the local team. The second post is to provide some flexible support over Year End to the local teams who between them support eleven sets of accounts. We are looking for qualified accountants initially on a fixed terms posts until the end of Jun 21. Experience working in NHS Financial Accounts is essential with Agreement of Balances experience. The preferred candidate would also have CCG Financial Accounts experience and work well in a virtual team environment during a busy Year End period. In line with government guidelines these roles will be working from home. As these are fixed term roles we would also support a secondment within the NHS where agreement has been reached by current employer and looking for immediate start where possible.
