Senior Business Analyst - Band 6
Permanent - 37.5 hours per week and
Permanent and Fixed Term 12 Months contract - 26.25 hours per week
The Royal United Hospital Bath Trust is seeking to recruit a high calibre Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our busy Business Intelligence team. You will be responsible for the analysis, interpretation, and presentation of focused information to support the Trust's agenda for business planning and performance.
Linking with Senior Managers and Clinicians within the RUH and across the health community, you will be responsible for the production of statutory and corporate reports, but will also have the skills and experience to provide detailed analysis that informs operational decision making.
Ideally with extensive experience of patient information systems, you must have:
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Innovative communication and presentation skills
• Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Reporting Services etc. Previous use of SQL and Business Objects would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Be a team player with the ability to work independently
You should possess a good understanding of NHS data flows, systems and processes.
