Hutcheon Mearns are delighted to be supporting a high growth, innovative business to attract an ambitious and determined professional into their finance team. Our client is looking to recruit a motivated and tenacious individual into the newly created role of Financial Controller.
Consideration will be given to exceptional individuals with a proven track record of achievement with a minimum of three years post qualification experience within a fast paced industry setting. The successful candidate will be a qualified CA / ACCA, preferably from a 'Big 4' background with experience in implementing and reviewing process and proceduresCandidates must have a proactive attitude and display superior communication and interpersonal skills. Strong financial accounting skills are essential and Corporate Finance experience would be advantageous.
Overview Working alongside the senior management team to transition onto AccountsIQ ensuring successful automation of key processes within the Accounting system Reviewing of monthly management accounts Responsible for management of company's loan and grant facilities Management of cash flow and working capital cycle Experience within a faced paced scalable business would be highly advantageous Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines Good working knowledge of accounting and principles Review, design and develop financial evaluation tools for use in corporate and commercial business appraisals Undertake ad-hoc requests from the Senior Leadership Team
