Management Accountant

Management Accountant, Hull, salary circa £30,000 - £40,000 (dependent upon experience) plus other benefitsincluding 30 days holiday, pension, staff discount across Heron Foods and B&M.

We are now looking to appoint a Management Accountant in a newly created role to support the growing team.

Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager you will be responsible for timely reporting and working within a busy Accounts department for a FTSE 100 company. Within this exciting new role you will be responsible for the following:

Timely and accurate analysis of data Supporting the Commercial Finance Manager Production of management accounts and monthly reporting pack Identification, investigation and reporting on variances to budget Provision of weekly, monthly and ad hoc management information Completion of the VAT return Reconciling intercompany trading accounts Preparation of weekly flash reports Review and report of gross margin by category on a weekly basis Production of daily/weekly trading dashboard Provision of support for internal business intelligence data

Successful Management Accountant applications will ideally have the following:

Part or fully qualified CIMA or ACCA Commercial awareness and ability to communicate with all departments at all levels Previous experience within a similar role or looking to take your next career step Organised, efficient and able to meet deadlines Ability to identify weaknesses and suggest improvements Strong attention to detail and focus Ability to work with large amounts of data Fully IT literate particularly in Excel
