Spencer Clarke Groupare working closely alongsidea 3 partner firm located in North Londonto provide them a with an Accounts Manager tojoin their team on aPermanent Basis!
You will be working for a well-regarded and established accountancy practice firm who offer a broad range of services to clients in a number of sectors. The firm have clients in a range of sectors. Following a period of sustained growth the firm are looking to expand and as part of this are looking for a qualified accountant to join their team as an Accounts Manager.
The firm are looking for someone who is able to sit below the partners of the firm to work very closely with the senior accounts to allocate the work and also follow through.
Along side managing the team you will also be responsible for working a range of clients and be responsible for:
Dealing with the completion of annual accounts and tax computations, for both incorporated and unincorporated businesses Ensuring that accounting records for clients are maintained and kept up to date Preparing reports and returns, including recording information for VAT and business tax returns and assistance with the preparation of the year end accounts for companies, sole traders and partnerships/ LLPs Dealing with the completion of quarterly VAT returns Comply with internal policies and procedures, ethical standards and regulatory requirements Drafting correspondence for clients; liaising with HMRC, by telephone and email Providing varied administrative and business set-up services for clients Audit experience is also a must for this position. You won't need to be physically on the audits but you are required to plan and review the audits which the firm conducts over the course of the year.
To be considered for this position you will be required to be a qualified accountant ACCA/ACA and have solid practice experience.
