Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Nicholas Howard are delighted to be recruiting for a new and exciting role as a Regulatory Reporting Analyst.

The role will be based in London with some travel expected to Sheffield & Cambridge from time to time. A portion of time will be 'work from home' if desired.

The role will be responsible for all reporting to the FCA, Bank of England and other regulatory bodies. As the business grows there are a number of cyclical and ad -hoc reporting requirements which are increasingly complex.

Core Responsibilities:

* Preparation and submission of all required regulatory reports for the UK regulated mortgage lending business including FCA and Bank of England.

* Continuous improvement of existing processes to enhance accuracy and increase efficiency of the reporting process. This will require building a strong working relationship with the Business Intelligence and Compliance teams as well the broader operating business.

* MI monitoring to ensure compliance with liquidity and funding requirements.

* Other tasks outside of Regulatory Reporting may involve Treasury / FinRep / Production of Board Pack information / ad-hoc regulatory requests / Committee Packs / Ad hoc analysis.

Skills & Requirements:

* Experience of working in a mortgage lender and FCA and BoE Reporting preferred.

* Awareness of current and future regulatory changes.

* ACA / ACCA or equivalent preferred.

* Advanced Excel skills - primarily to be able to manipulate large amounts of complex data easily.
