Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working alongside a successful housing business within the Leeds area as they look to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full time basis!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic & self-motivated Accounts Assistant to join a well established team in a varied position that will give great exposure into a busy accounting function.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will include:

- Purchase and sales ledger - Assisting with month end duties including the posting of journals - Bank Reconciliations - Accruals and Prepayments - Fixed Asset registrations - Exposure to budgeting and forecasting - Variance Analysis - Supporting the wider finance team with any adhoc duties

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

Skills required:

- AAT/ ACCA/ CIMA Studier - At least 3 years previous experience within an all round Accounts Assistant Role - Strong Excel (Look Ups & Pivot Tables) - Self-motivated & target-focused - Strong communication skills (verbally and written) - Sage 50 experience (desirable)
