An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the finance team within Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust as the Financial Services and Charities accountant. The role is crucial in adding additional support within the finance team at a time of significant additional services within the Trust, including Mass Covid Vaccination Program. The role will support various areas across the team within a variety of work streams. The Trust has been appointed the lead provider for charity funding for the Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care system and this role will play a vital part in working with partner organisations and ensuring governance arrangements are followed. The successful individual will also play an important part in supporting month end and year-end financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and attention to detail to ensure reconciliations are completed on a timely and accurate basis.

The role will also play a key part in working closely with the Trust's automation team to bring in processes across the finance team to minimise manual tasks through the team.
