Assistant Finance Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Finance Manager to join our Finance Team. This role is a based in our Administration Building with a competitive salary on offer of £50,000 - £60,000. Job Description

As the Assistant Finance Manager you will provide support to the Finance Manager and line management responsibility for a team of 2 Accountants
Job Type:(Full Time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week)
Shifts:Monday- Friday within the core hours of 9am - 5.30pm

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Finance accounting of the full General Ledger
  • Month end close including performing and reviewing reconciliations of accounts
  • Input into the rolling forecast (P&L, Cashflow, Bal sheet) as required with commentary
  • Production of banking covenant calculations and forecast modelling as required
  • Own with the Finance Manager the annual Statutory Audit

Skills & Experience

ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified (Must have), with ideally 2/1 Minimum Degree

Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not essential.

Demonstrable experience of improving accounting processes

Prior experience as a Financial Accountant, looking to step up into a managerial role

Drive for results, deadline orientated, able to work under pressure, well humoured, ambitious, excellent communication skills ( to finance and non finance colleagues), strong organisation skills
